Are there any step parents out there? If so, I am working on a book about step parenting. I am looking for some anecdotal stories that illustrate a positive concept in some aspect of being a step parent, as well as ones that illustrate a negative aspect of the experience. Think in terms of "what have I done right?" and "what have I done wrong" as a step parent. If you have something to offer on this topic, I would be willing to pay a one time fee if I find your material useful and can quote you (with or without your name -- that would be your decision) or paraphrase your contribution.
I have already collected some material so if yours duplicates what I already have, I would not use it, nor would I pay for it.
