Blog Entry: Hi Big 5 People! I have great news - I am finally fulfilling one of my big five dreams that I developed at John’s Big5 workshop in February! :D After some ups and downs with a previous opportunity, I have found a worthy cause that is perfectly aligned with my Big 5 vision – helping and supporting women and girls by creating and selling t-shirts. I have been praying about it over the past couple months, and I am amazed at how God listens and responds. Here is the story... I am leaving on August 25th for a mission trip to Brazil. I really believe that no matter where you live, almost all girls want and need to feel important, loved and beautiful (self-confidence and self-worth are SO critical for women!). So, for my project on the mission trip, I volunteered to work with the women and girls, cutting hair, washing feet and painting nails. The purpose is to show these village women that they are valuable, treasured and goddesses (in a spiritual sense). Almost as clear as day, I recently realized that my t-shirts could really benefit the women on this mission trip to Brazil!!!! So here is what I am doing - the profits from my t-shirt sales are going towards supplies and additional t-shirts for the women and girls in the Brazilian Amazon. I have already completed my t-shirt design, and I am waiting to submit t-shirt sizes and quantities to my screen printer. I can't even express how amazing it is to see my dream come to life, and I want to extend my sincere gratitude to you for supporting my dream.  THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!! I have sent an email to all those who placed pre-orders with me for my shirts at the Big5 workshop in February. Please respond with your sizes and look forward to getting your shirts within the next few weeks!!!!! I would LOVE to hear how your Big 5 are going as well.
